1000 Hearts Crafting Online Workshops

1000 Hearts is a community initiative that promotes kindness, connection and self‑care through handmade pocket hearts. With your help, we aim to make and share 1,000 pocket hearts throughout our community.

We invite carers to join us in spreading kindness while also taking time to nurture themselves by making and sharing pocket hearts.

These workshops bring together a small group of carers to create two pocket hearts each. Step‑by‑step guidance will be provided, and no sewing experience is required.

Before the workshop, a twin‑heart kit will be posted to you.

  • One heart is for you to keep as a reminder to be kind to yourself and acknowledge the important role you play.

  • The second heart is to gift to someone who may benefit from a small gesture of kindness and connection.

All materials are supplied except scissors
